Association Yeast No. 13 (Kyōkai No. 13)

Isolated around 1981 from strains crossbred from No. 9 and No. 10 yeasts by Hara Shodo (原昌道, long “o”s) . Fermentation characteristics are similar to No. 9, and it is suited for low-temperature moromi. Strong aromatics. It is not currently distributed.
